Does digital fundraising replace
conventional fundraising? Digital fundraising does not replace your person-to-person fundraising activity. The E-raffle fundraiser is designed to expand and enhance your usual fundraising efforts, and will help you find new supporters. It supplements rather than takes the place of the traditional raffle fundraiser. What is the time frame for the E-raffle fundraiser? The timing and duration of an E-raffle depends largely on your desires and circumstances. The nature of your support base, how you choose to market the raffle, and what the raffle prize is are some of the considerations that determine the timing and duration of an E-raffle. How does an online raffle work? NPOP does most of the work. We produce the raffle website, we help you operate the raffle, and we produce and coordinate marketing and promotional activities with your organization. When your revenue goal is reached, the prize drawings can be conducted by your organization as a social event or by an independent CPA - that’s your choice. The prize winners are notified and posted on the raffle website, the prizes are distributed, and raffle revenues are disbursed. Do we have to develop a new site or can we use our existing site? We can link the E-raffle operating website directly to your organizational website, or we can develop an entirely new website for you. We consult with you to decide what approach is most appropriate for your goals and circumstances. How much funding can we raise using E-raffles? You control the revenue generated. Variables like the value of the raffle prize, the amount of donation per entry, the duration of the raffle, and the kind and level of marketing and advertising used varies widely. Raffling a house can generate more revenue than raffling a car, raffling a car can generate more than raffling a motorcycle, raffling a motorcycle can generate more than raffling a plasma TV,, etc. We recommend that you plan to operate a continuing series of raffles and that you allocate as much funding as possible to marketing and advertising the raffle, but it’s up to you. How much does it cost to conduct a raffle? We will analyze your goals and resources and provide you with an estimate of your two types of expenses: 1] initial and 2] ongoing. Initial expenses include the cost of producing your custom E-raffles website and initial promotion, marketing, and advertising expenses which are to paid in advance. Ongoing expenses include the cost of expanded marketing and advertising, and can be paid out of raffle proceeds. Our analysis will provide you with a very specific expense guideline. How long does it take to get the raffle up and selling donor tickets? Your E-raffle website and any specialized marketing websites can be operational four to six weeks after final decisions on configuration and layout are concluded, and promotion and marketing can begin at that time. How will we know what to do? What if my organization has multiple branches? You can operate one E-raffle for multiple branches individually or have a separate E-raffle for each branch. A branch can conduct its own marketing and advertising locally, or participate in a master marketing plan designed to take advantage of the power of the Internet to solicit donors from anywhere in the USA, or in the world. How are the sponsors and prizes obtained? We will assist you in obtaining prizes, or you can locate sponsors to donate them. What is the capacity and number of raffle sites you can manage?
